About FD2i

Our Founder

 With nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, Fiona brings a unique blend of commercial insight and deep DEI expertise. A former senior leader at one of the world’s largest banks, she has shaped global inclusion strategy, built impactful networks, and led cultural change at scale.


Today, with a diverse team of Associates, she helps businesses transform through inclusion — aligning equity with performance, and people with purpose. 

Our Story

 FD2i was founded with a clear belief: businesses thrive when inclusion is embedded — not added on.


After nearly thirty years in the financial services industry, our founder, Fiona Daniel, observed that diversity and inclusion efforts often remained superficial, disconnected from strategy, culture, and commercial objectives. However, she also recognised the significant benefits and positive impact when DEI was implemented effectively. This motivated her to launch FD2i to bring about meaningful change.


FD2i is  built on extensive lived experience, commercial awareness, HR capabilities, customer and employee experience expertise, learning and development, and senior DEI leadership. 


We love collaborating with clients to transform good intentions into meaningful change. We don’t believe in tick-box training; we partner with clients to integrate equity and inclusion to create real impact across leadership, HR, operations, customer experience, and beyond.


Whether through strategy, leadership development, or accredited professional qualifications, our work is designed to create measurable business outcomes and a culture where everyone can thrive.

  • 2019: FD2i was established to transform Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) from theoretical concepts into practical, business-driven changes.


  • 2021: A remarkable 80% of our clients come to us through recommendations from other satisfied clients.


  • 2022: Our 7-Step Framework is beginning to transform organizations in the automotive, health, retail, beauty, and social impact sectors.


  • 2023: Our business-focused approach has significantly impacted a social impact organisation and an automotive company that received awards for diversity and inclusion in their business practices.


  • 2024:  We have become a CPD-approved organisation and a Chartered Management Institute Registered Centre, allowing us to build and expand our offering of CMI qualifications.
